Val Gerard Garcia Jr. (also goes by Jay) is making his professional dramaturgical debut with Three Days In the Country with Kinetic Theatre. A Chicago native, Val is currently a student at The University of Pittsburgh. He majors in Natural Sciences, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, and Neuroscience. He recently earned his minor in Theatre Arts and also won a 2015 Undergraduate Research Award for his work on communicating scientific research via the medium of theatre. Val is expected to graduate with his Bachelors of Science in December of this year.
Recent Kinetic Theatre work: Run Crew/ASM for The Hound of the Baskervilles. Val also works as a dramaturg for The University of Pittsburgh Stages' (U.P.
